Grass lands have very few trees and plenty of water which are ideal conditions for small shrubery and grasses. Predators in grasslands adapt by using lighter coat colours to camouflage in bushes to ambush prey that have been lured by food and water.

Animals in grasslands usually are built for speed in one direction rather than for swinging around trees and turning frequently. Plants in grasslands flurish, most being green, leafy vegetation.
