Total number of tickets purchased is 250.

⇛ x + y = 250

Case :- 2.

Cost of 1 ticket for children = php 200

and

Cost of 1 ticket for adult = php 450

Total amount of tickets = php 76, 000

⇛ 450x + 200y = 76, 000.......(2)

Put value of y from equation (1), we get

⇛ 450x + 200 × (250 - x) = 76, 000

⇛ 450x + 50, 000 - 200x = 76, 000

⇛ 250x = 76, 000 - 50, 000

⇛ 250x = 26, 000

⇛ x = 104

Put value of x = 104 in equation (1) we get,

⇛ y = 250 - 104

⇛ y = 146

So, number of adults = 104

And number of children = 146
