once Akbar and his courtiers were sitting in the court. Then suddenly the guard came with a man. He (the Gaurd) said that this man is a pandit. He had came here from very far away and wants to know the witness and cleverness of the Birbal. Akbar said 'sure'. Then pandit ji asked Birbal that what is your choice . You would like to answer a 100 easy questions or just a simple difficult one. Birbal thought for a while and then he said just ask me a simple difficult one question. 'Alright', said the pandit. His question was ' which came first, the hen or the egg. Birbal said the hen of course. how can you be so sure? Then Birbal said that you have asked me a simple difficult one question. That was my promise.
'HOW CLEVER YOU ARE'. said the pandit and went away. Akbar was very happy with the cleverness of the Birbal. Every thing was OK.
