Some here is meant by the people who have contemplated as to how the world will end.
Some people think that the world will end due to jealousy and fury while others think that it will perish due to hatred and indifference.
Fire suggests passion, fury and anger. Ice suggests coldness, indifference and hatred.
The poet has had experiences with 'fire', and believes that the world will end in the same. But he says that even if somehow the world is saved, he has seen enough of 'ice', to end the remaining world.
