‘Wings of Fire’ is the autobiography of India’s eleventh President Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam (1931 - 2015), by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and Arun Tiwari.
The book is a brief sketch into the multi-faceted life of a genius scientist, who went on to become the eleventh President of India. From a poor, minority background, the little boy rose to the highest position and office in India, through sheer hard work and perseverance. He counts the support from some of his teachers and elders as the biggest blessing, he received in his life.
India can be proud of its uncorrupted son, who was instrumental in some of Indian space research’s greatest achievements. He showed the masses, how simplicity and dedication to work can make a country great.
