1 - The Speaker makes this request Because the Story of the Poem is seem to be unrealistic like it's from fantasy World .

2 - To be Honest , I don't believe in the Story of Poem Because , in reality there is no Cursed treasure & all the things happening there were unrealistic.

Although I do Believe in Speaker & I think He wants Us to believe in Poem Because it has the Beautiful Meaning that We should not be Greedy .
