It describes how a laburu tree is filled with cheeriness and liveliness when a small goldfinch enters ad how it once again bbecomes silent when the bird flies away.
A) The colour which is dominant here is yellow. The poet describes that the laburnum tree looks yellow in the september afternoon sunshine. It's leaves are yellowing and even the gold finch is yellow in colour.
B) Personification is used in the above lines. The tree is compared to that of a person, describing the tree as silent and still.
