dark clouds.The aeroplane was twisting in the air as it was a stormy night. Twisted means turned

and curved in different directions . Because the compass was turning round and round.

1) The pilot of old Dakota aeroplane saw a black aeroplane in the dark clouds.

2) What he found strange about it was that he could not see the pilot and he wondered how the plane was able to fly in such a storm.
