Answer:

(1) Plane mirror causes regular reflection of light. When a parallel beam of light is incident on a plane mirror it is reflected back parallely. Due to this property a plane mirror is used to see our image and not a rough surface...

(2)Concave mirror is used in headlights of vehicles, because when the bulb of headlight is placed at focus of concave mirror, it allows the light to spread out to infinity (longer distances). ... A convex mirror always diverges the rays of light falling onto it.

(3)A concave mirror gives the dentist a magnified reflection of the mouth while also refracting a bit of light. This means the image in the mirror is larger, brighter, and, for the dentist, easier to see. Another plus of using a concave mirror is that the image in the mirror isn't inverted.

(4) So , a concave mirror is used in a solar furnace. The solar furnace is kept practically at the focal point of the broad concave reflector. The concave reflector guides the heat rays of the Sun on the furnace and attain the maximum temperature. Hence, a concave mirror is used in a solar furnace.
