Hi i just finished studying the poem so i know what is it about. So iam trying my level best to describe it to you
Explanation:
a.The poet is trying to convey that in life we loose many things that may be very valuable for us.In the world of possesions u tend to loose things. The ball here stands for the important things or people in our lives
b.He says that because somethings that are lost cannot be bought back.Once loose them we can't get it back.We have to learn to overcome the sensation of loosing things
c.The phrase "Money is external" means that money cannot buy you happiness. There is a limit of what u can buy with money. In this case the ball that the boy had lost has a lot of memories which creates an emotional bond towards the ball and you cannot buy that emotions or memories
d.No one Buys a Ball Back.=Alliteration=repition of constant sound or the letter in a sentence
