Read the following paragraph and answer any four questions from 18(i) to 18(v)

You all are familiar with blood vessels and their types. Veins collect the blood from different organs and bring it back to the heart. They do not need thick walls because the blood is no longer under pressure.
(i) What are the blood vessels which take blood away from the heart called?
(a) Arteries
(b) Veins
(c) Capillaries
(d) Vena Cava
(ii) If the blood is no longer under high pressure in veins, how do they avoid the back flow of blood?
(a) There is sufficient pressure for the blood to flow in one direction.
