Read the following paragraph and answer the following questions :

Resistance and resistivity are two important terms in electricity, the resistance is the property of a

conductor which changes when size or shape of conductor is changed,on the other hand resistivity is

the property of material which changes only when nature of conductor is changed.

(i) Two conductors of same material are taken having lengths 2m and 4m respectively then resistivity

of conductors becomes: 1

a) Two times of initial b) four times of initial

c) remains same d) zero

(ii) Resistance of a conductor changes when: 1

a) nature of material changes b) length of conductor changes

c) potential difference changes d) current changes

(iii) The unit of resistivity is given by: 1

a) ohm b) meter c) ohm meter d) ampere

(iv) If the temperature is increased then : 1

a) resistivity increases b) resistance decreases
