A balanced diet is very essential for good health. A good balanced diet should include
carbohydrates and fats as they provide necessary energy to an individual. Essential protiens are vital as
it contributes towards our physical development. Vitamins and minerals too should be a part of our diet
as they help us to remain healthy by resisting illness. In other words a balanced diet contributes
towards our general health, well-being and our growth and development. So let us not undermine the
importance of a balanced diet.
