The Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Shalimar Garden & the tombs of Jehangir & Noor Johan were all built by Mughals. The Government of Pakistan has declared many historical buildings protected monuments. They are looked after by the department of archeology. It has started to work to save them from decay.
