Once there lived a pious rabbit in the forest by the side of Varansi. The rabbit
had learnt that Friday was a Holy Day. He wanted to do something good on
Friday to get reward in Heaven. On Friday moming, the rabbit rose early and
took his bath in the river. He decided to do something good for the people. But
he did not have anything to give. He decided to give his own life to satisfy
someone. He decided to give his flesh to someone to eat. He started looking
for someone who was a meat eater.
