(ii) Weather refers to short term atmospheric conditions while climate is the weather of a specific region averaged over a long period of time. Climate change refers to long-term changes.
(iii) A monsoon is a seasonal change in the direction of the prevailing, or strongest, winds of a region. Monsoons cause wet and dry seasons throughout much of the tropics.
(iv) Elements of weather and climate include measurements of wind speed and direction, type of rain and amounts, humidity levels, air pressure, cloud cover, cloud types and air temperatures.
