Read the following passage.
Underline and identify proper, common, abstract, concreta
and collective nouns.
Once upon a time there lived a shepherd-boy in a village called Taldongri. He looked after
a flock of sheep that belonged to Raju Singh. One day he felt bored. Out of mischief, he
cried out to the villagers, "Wolf! Wolf!" When everyone from the neighbourhood came to
help him, he greeted them with a hearty laugh. This happened several times. His foolish
behavior made all the villagers very angry with him. They finally became very indifferent
But one day the wolf really came and he was terrified. He shouted out for help, "Please
come and help me; the wolf is killing us all." But alas! No one believed him anymore.
His cry for help was ignored by all. The wolf destroyed his entire flock. The shepherd-boy realized his mistake and never again made false alarms to grade a crowd.
