(1x 5 Marks]
If you've tried and have not won, Though the sturdy oak has known
Never stop for crying; Many a blast that bowed her,
All that's great and good is done She has risen again, and grown
Just by patient trying. Loftier and prouder.
Though young birds, in flying, fall, If by easy work you beat,
Still their wings grow stronger; Who the more will prize you?
And the next time they can keep Gaining victory from defeat,
Up a little longer. That's the test that tries you!
