Municipal Corporation has seen the problem of cleanliness as a very serious issue and has finally decided to take care of it. This cleanliness drive was from 5th October 2018 to 12th October 2018. This whole period was considered as Cleanliness week in Mumbai. We didn't only cleaned this city we also guided people to use some things through which any place can be kept cleaned. For example we gave some guidelines like always use dustbin, keep your locality clean, don't spit on roads and walls, use toilets every day, plant more trees so that there can be fresh air in any locality. We used these guidelines to encourage people, and to keep our city clean. Hope these guidelines can be used by you also for encouraging people in your surrounding. Dear Niharika,
How are you? I hope you are safe and sound. No news from you for a long time. The main reason of writing to you is to tell you about "Cleanliness week" at Mumbai. As you know increasing unhygienic conditions in our Mumbai leads to various diseases to spread. And because of that reason Mumbai Municipal corporation (MMC) announced cleanliness week.
It was held on 5th Oct. 2018 to 12th Oct, 2018. We student from different schools gather together and we were spread with group of 10 student along with a teacher. We installed dustbins on road. We also explain people about health and hygiene, using toilets, to plant more trees from street play. All students cleaned the area ethically. People were warn to use toilets and do not split on walls.
On the last days of cleanliness week the people pledge to plant tress to keep the surroundings pleasant, clean and fresh. It was so great to celebrate this type of week.
I hope you too understand this, I really miss you, lets meet soon.
