The moment Hari stepped down from the train he was greeted at the platform by the people of his small town. They had gathered there with garlands and a band. Hari was extremely happy to be welcomed in that way. He thanked everyone and started walking towards his relatives house.
On his way, he heard few sounds. He didn't mind much. He heard someone screaming, and also heard someone crying. He stopped and looked back. He heard some laughs, loud evil laughs. He was terrified about what he heard. He was getting scared.
He didn't know what could be done that moment. He started running, and he heard the noises getting louder. He heard them again and again, he also felt that someone was following him. With much of sweat and tiredness, he sat under a tree.
There was a shadow which was reflected beside him. He was continuosly staring at it. The noises were mute. He slowly got up and ran from there. Again, the noises started. He found that village weird, and took a train, and got back to his city.
Hari still fears remembering this incident at times. He still wonders, what those sounds were.

The people were telling him that what he did for them was truly great and they would never forget his act.
