Read the following situation and answer the question in the table

Garbage A : kitchen waste, paper, cardboard, leaves

Garbage B : Metals, Plastic, polythene, glass

Both the Garbage heaps kept in the pits under observation for one month ​

Garbage A - We see that Garbage A has fully decomposed and turned into manure for plants. This is because thay are biodegradable materials.

Garbage B - We see that Garbage B remains the same and is not manure. This is because they are Non-Biodegradable / made of Non-Biodegradable materials.

is convert into compost. All the substance

are Biodegradable in nature

2.This compost is used as manure for

agriculture fields and thus increase the

crop yield.

3.Garbage B remains un decomposed

because it consists of plastic and

polythene which are non Biodegradable

in nature.
