Now , solve for x.......... 9x= 54-9..........9x= 45............... x = 45/9= 5....... So x = 5................... Now put the value of x........ 3x=3×5= 15...........3x+3= 3×5+3= 15+3=18.................. 3x+6= 3×5+6= 15+6=21................................... So the 3 consecutive multiples of 3 which sum up to 54 are 15,18 and 21...............
