- Usually carbohydrate ( glucose) are oxidized to release energy inside the cell like glycolysis and Krebs cycle in respiration and other things Because protein is usually synthesis in our body but we get energy by metabolising it like when we eat or digest protein , the bond between amino acid break down to release energy.

- and (ii) is correct because Obligate anaerobes are affected by oxygen , they only survive in the absence of oxygen because an obligated anaerobes is easy killed by Environment oxygen. some Example of obligated anaerobes are Clostridium botulinum and the bacteria which live near hydrothermal vents are the example of obligated anaerobes.
