One day, he entered his friends shop and saw an old " Beggar " sitting on a bench, while seth ( Theo's friend ) was making a portrait of him, after a while, seth got out to speak to the frame maker. Theo on the other hand, felt pitty seeing the poor beggar sitting on the bench and felt very bad. So before leaving, he gave the beggar a sovereign, and ran, feeling embarrassed that he was only able to give the beggar a sovereign. The next day, Theo found a mail in his mailbox sent by a very famous person, Matthew cole, the world's largest investor. He read on and saw that the old " beggar " he gave the sovereign to, was actually Matthew Cole! And he rewarded Theo with a 10,000 pound check, graded on his kindness and offered him to marry his daughter Laura.
