Unemployment is a serious economic problem in many developing countries like India. It leads to many other socio-economic problems like illiteracy, poverty poor health and crimes. In simple language unemployment is a situation in which those people who are willing and able to work fail to find an employment or a job. There are many types of unemployment.

One type is called seasonal unemployment in which farmers become workless after agricultural season is over. Another type is called technological unemployment in which machines replace workers. Another type of unemployment is found among educated people who fail to get jobs because they do not have right skills or knowledge to match the job requirements. However unemployment is a universal problem. Even developed countries suffer from it, though in a smaller scale.
