Last Winter, I painted our truck. The job took about two weeks to finish. First, I washed the exterior using warm water and a mild detergent. Then all the rusty areas and the dents in the body of the truck were sealed with car wax. After the wax had a chance to dry, the exterior was ready to be painted over.​
