Read the given unseen passage carefully.
The tailor birds are shy birds but they cry out so loudly that we can quickly find
out where they are. Tailor birds get their name from the way their nests are
constructed.
Not all birds build their nests from twigs and dry grass. Some make mud nests.
Others nest among stones. But Tailor birds build their homes in creative way.
They always sew a pouch of green living leaves for their nest. First, the leaf is
carefully curled together by tightly twisting spider web strands around it. Then
the edges are neatly joined together by making tiny holes on the edges of leaf
with their pointed bills. Through the holes, they delicately lace through fibers
from bark, cottony seed fibers or spider webs. The opposite ends of these fibers
are gently teased into balls(not knotted together as some suggest). Some havedescribed the method more as riveting the leaf edges rather than sewing. The
common tailor bird is a brightly- coloured bird that can be found easily in garden
and parks. Common Tailorbird feeds mainly on insects, adults and larvae. It also
consumes small fruits, berries, some nectar and tiny seeds. The tailorbird was also
“immortalized by Rudyard Kipling in his Jungle Book.” From Thai National
