Given that: Here we have to perform an activity, the activity says that we have to take three plastic bottles that are of same size, sand and water too afterthat collecting these we have to start our activity. Firstly taking a bottle filling it with sand till the topper most level then have to place the cap securely. Tag it as Bottle A. Now taking a bottle filling it with water till the topper most level then have to place the cap securely. Tag it as Bottle B. Take Bottle C(the third bottle) and have to cover it securely.

Now by performing this activity we have to answer the following questions let us!

Question 1. Were you able to squeeze the bottle A? How about the bottle B? How about the bottle C?

Answer 1. No, I am not able to squeeze the bottle A. No, I am not able to squeeze the bottle B too. Yes, I am able to squeeze the bottle C.

Explanation: This happen because in bottle A and B there is none type of space that's why there are not squeezing and the bottle C has nothing filled till the top and have space too that's why it is squeezed.

Question 2. Which among the bottle is easier to you for squeeze? Why?

Answer 2. For me bottle C that is just covered and not fill with anything is easier for squeeze. It is because it has space and the other two have no space.

Question 3. Which among the bottle is harder to you for squeeze? Why?

Answer 3. For me bottle A and bottle B both are harder to squeeze because both have none air means it does not contain any type of space and it it full of particles too. There is no air inside the bottle. The water & soil produces a force on the cap that's why it's harder to squeeze

Question 4. Why is it about the particles of air that you find it easier to squeeze?

Answer 4. As there is a vacuum (a place with no air or less air than normal) then air will rush in to fill that void. That means it have low pressure. Air pressure outside the bottle is higher, so it actually tries to push into the bottle!

  • That's all due to the vaccum.
