Step -2:-

B)Devise a plan:-

Angie's age is no less than 6 more than Rose's age.

X≥Y+6 -------(1)

The sum of their ages is greater than 18

X+Y>18-------(2)

Step -3:-

C) Carry out the plan:-

Equation (1) can be written as

X≥Y+6

=>X-6≥Y+6-6

=>X-6≥Y

=>Y≤X-6

and Equation (2) becomes

X+Y>18

=>Y> -X+18

Step-4:-

D) Look back:-

20≤30-6

20≤24

and

30+20>18

50>18
