• The southern regions of the nation have had success using this technique to distribute food.
• They have adopted the Universal Public Distribution system, which stipulates that food grains would be inexpensively available to everyone.
• On the other side, this has not gone well in several other states.
• For ensuring proper function of the distribution system, following steps can be taken:
• FCI (Food Corporation of India) should also inspect the food grains being distributed at the lowest level for quality.
• In front of their stores, the store owners should have a chart showing the food grains that are available and in what quantities. The pricing of the same should be shown on these charts as well.
• Regular audits should be carried out to get rid of any corruption in the system.

According to my opinion the last para of page 137 i.e; “Studies indicate............ for access” states:-

• For ensuring the nation's food security, the civil distribution system was created.
• The southern provinces of the nation have had achievements using this method of distributing food.
• They have obtained the Universal Public Distribution procedure, which facilitates that food grains would be inexpensively ready for each one. Whereas, this has not got on generously in various different states.
• To assure the adequate purpose of the distribution system there are following steps can be taken which are:-

1. In front of their shops, the shop holders should have an illustration indicating the food grains that are attainable and in what amounts.
2. The pricing of the grains should be indicated on those charts similarly.
3. FCI (Food Corporation of India) should furthermore inspect the food grains that are being allotted at the lowest category for quality.
4. Conventional audits should be accomplished to get free any fraud in the procedure.
