Suddenly I saw a lady chasing after a boy. The boy was carrying a bag in his hand and I came to know that he was a thief who had stolen the lady's bag. She was yelling for help but there was no policeman and the few people around were helpless, scared if the boy is carrying a pistol. I took courage to help the lady. I went down the street and chased after the boy till we met an end destination. I asked the boy to hand over the bag to the lady, and to my surprise he said sorry and handed the bag to her politely. The lady was very angry and said the boy should be taken to police station but I felt very pity for the boy when I saw tears in his eyes. I told the lady that I will handle the boy, so she left. I asked the boy why he stole from the lady, he replied that his mother was very sick and they were poor and he have no father, brother, sister or relatives to help recover her mother. And the situation prompted him to steal. I felt very pity for the boy. I took him to my home, gave him food, clothes, and some money to take his mother to the hospital. He thanked me and left my house with a big smile on his face.
