Dear Diary,

I have been reading sports column for ICC cricket world cup, 2019.

Some of the highlights are:

1. Shai Hope, West Indies cricketer took his 100th catch as a wicket-keeper.
2. Chris Gayle, West Indies cricketer scored his “40th six” in World Cup Cricket matches, Which is most by “any batsman" in the history of world Cup, surpassing the record of 37 by AB De Villiers.
3. Bangladesh scored their highest total in ODI’s.
4. Rohit sharma Scored his 12,000th run in international cricket for India
5. Virat Kholi’s secured 50th win as Captain of India in ODI’s
6. England became the first team to make seven consecutive scores of 300 or more in ODIs
7. Virat Kholi’s (Ind) became the fastest cricketer, in terms of innings, to score 20,000 runs in international cricket
8. Jasprit Bumrah (Ind) took his 100th wicket in ODIs
9. Rohit sharma (Ind) became the first batsman to score five centuries in the same World Cup tournament .
10. This was the ‘first time’ since 1992 that South Africa had beaten Australia in a World Cup cricket match.
