Protagonist in the novel black midas by Jan Crew is ARON SMART ( aka ocean shark, King of diamonds)
Aron smart is a boy, he became orphan in his early life. And then he is raised up by his grandparents on their farm. His grandparents impressed him the value of education.
But due to some reversal of fortune his education get cut off and he decides to become a diamond inspector like his father.
He quickly becomes very rich. And is know by the name of SHARK among his companions.
But aron out of his element of property and cheated of his fortune, he returns to the mining that leaves him terribly maimed in an accident. It causes him to think to go back to his grandfather and live a life caring land of farm.
