Once upon a time there was a miser lived in a village. one day he lost his bag full of gold coins. He was so disappointed and sad. At last he went to the headman of the village and complained him about the incident. The headman issued a notice in the village “The the person who find the bag full of gold coins will be rewarded with ten gold coins”.

Now it so happened that a poor farmer the bag of the gold coins. He took the bag n went to miser’s home to returned the bag. He told the miser for the reward of ten gold coins. Miser checked the bag, counted all the coins in it and said “You have already taken out your reward of ten gold coins”. The farmer was stunned! ‘he said , I have even not opened the bag at all.

The miser said- there were hundred and ten coins in the bag but now there are only hundred coins, so definitely you have taken the coins.

For the settlement of the dispute they went to the head man of the village. The headman asked the miser- How many gold coins were there in the bag? The miser said, hundred and ten sir.

The headman took the bag and counted the gold coins. There were exactly hundred coins in bag. Then he asked to the farmer that, How many gold coins did you take from the this bag?

The farmer replied, “sir I didn’t open the at all”. I returned the bag as I found it.

At last the headman said to the miser. According to you, there were a hundred and ten gold coins in your bag but there are only hundred coins. So it shows that this bag is not belongs to you. So you should continue the search for your lost bag.

The headman gave the bag of gold coins to the farmer and said, “Dear friend this is the reward for your honesty”.

There once lived a miser in a village. One day when he was returning from work he realized that he had lost his purse with having hundred gold pieces. He became very sad as he valued money a lot. He decided to go to the tower and announce a  reward of ten gold pieces for finding his purse.

A farmer who was going home late in the evening saw a bag lying near a tree. When he opened it, he found a hundred pieces of gold. The farmer was a God-fearing man and he had heard about the reward.

He decided to approach the miser and returns his purse when the miser saw the bag he was overjoyed and began counting the gold pieces. and Then satisfied he thanked the farmer. the farmer asked for a reward but the miser blamed the farmer for already taking the reward from the purse as it had a hundred and ten gold pieces.

The farmer was shocked and angry and the farmer approached the village Court. The Judge after hearing both parties finds that the purse had enough space for hundred gold pieces only. It, therefore, could not belong to the Miser. The judge declared that since the purse can't be of the miser the farmer gets the purse with a hundred gold. The miser was sad again but he had overreached himself.
