I am a penguin. I live in polar region covered by snow. My abdomen is white. My skin is thick with a layer of fat underneath. My body is spindle-shaped. My wings are small. My toes are webbed. We live in flocks.

a) White and black skin in penguin:
The white and black skin is called counter shading. The main purpose is camouflage. When the prey view from top and bottom, sometimes the penguins blend with its surrounding according to the lightning.
The white skin reflects the light whereas the black skin absorbs the light.
Thick layer of fat:
The thickness in the fat helps the birds to warm itself. The fat is best form of internalinsulation.
b) Penguins live in flock:
They always stay together to keep themselves warm and protect themselves from frigid cold winds.
c) Geographical region of penguins:
The penguins are found in the southern hemisphere or Antarctica. There are less human habitation and there are abundant fish to feed in the polar region.
d) Adaptation for polar region:
One should have thick fur and fat, flat or webbed feet, strong beaks to scratch ices, loud voice to call others and flaps to swim.
