Lactobacillus bacteria are responsible for formation of curd. Take a spoon full of curd and mix it

thoroughly with around half of the glass (30 tea spoon full of )luke warm milk in a bowl take

another teaspoon full of curd mix it with half of the glass cold milk in another bowl. Cover both

the bowls with lids and note down the initial time. Keep on observing the two bowls every hour

to see whether curd has been formed or not. Curdling indicates that there is increasing in number

of bacteria.

A. Note the time taken for formation of curd in both the bowls.

B. Did it take the same time to form curd in both the bowls?

C. Why was the time taken to form 30 times the size of bacterial colony? What did it

indicate?
