most of the mining practice result in distributing the surface area it means cutting down forest destroying fields and habitation creating large pits of moundsmineral also need large amount of water to wash the minerals this result polluting the nearby river and water sources this usually means that older use of land cannot be continued and farmers of tribal people have to leave the land even people who live near by face problem create by mining at the same time mining employes a large number of people who come to live in nearby areas and build new township ​
