Read the passage and answer the following questions.
Two brothers Karan and Kishore worked with their father in the family's farm.
Kishore had for some time been given more responsibility and reward. One day Karan asked
his father to explain the reason for this discrimination.
His father smiled and told him, "First, go to Timur's farm and check if they hav
any ducks for sale, we need to add to our stock."
Karan quickly returned with the information. He said , "Yes they have eight duc
they can sell us.:
His father said, "Good , please ask them the price."
Once again Karan returned with the answer quickly, "The ducks are for Rs. 1000
each." This time his father told him , "Good , now ask if they can deliver the ducks tomorow.
Karan found out , "Yes, they can deliver the ducks tomorrow."
His father then asked Karan to wait, watch and listen. He then called Kishore ar
said, "Go to Jogi's farm and find out if they have any ducks for sale, we need to add to our
stock."
Kishore came back with the information. "Yes, they have ten ducks for sale. Th
would charge Rs. 1000 for each. If we want they would deliver the ducks tomorrow."
The father turned to Karan , who nodded his head in appreciation. He now realised why his
brother was given more responsibility and reward.
