disaster was another. Even though the flood was not too bad, I was not prepared
for what it was really. It was a rainy day but the adults in the house were getting
very anxious. So I started to pay more attention to news on TV and radio. The
meteorologists kept saying that the rain hasn't stopped in a long time, and it
looked like it was not going to stop anytime soon. When the next morning, I saw
the water enter our basement, we all got worried. Dad said that the flood water is
going to do adverse damage to our basement and we will need quite a lot of repair
after the flood.
