My friend, Romu is a shepherd. He lives in the Kangra in the Himalayas during

summers. He has a flock of sheep and goats. There are some lambs also in the flock.

He and his siblings often play with the lambs. He sometimes travels to the

mountainous regions to find pastures for his animals. I Once saw him get honey

from a hive full of a swarm of bees. He had no fear of the bees.

A singer, Romu knows many tunes. His songs make the people around him smile.

They are a constant source of happiness for them. He is liked by one and all,

including his animals. They like him for his acts of kindness towards them. He never

hurts them. He loves them like his own children.​
