Read the passage below and answer the question that follows:
The zookeeper got the surprise of his life when he went in to feed the elephants their lunch. Maisy, the biggest elephant, was feeling rather playful. It was a hot day and she was standing by the pond drinking water with her massive trunk. When she saw the zookeeper with his big basket of fresh cut vegetables and bales of hay, she became so excited. The zookeeper must have looked hot to her, struggling to carry the large baskets of food. Without warning, Maisy dipped her trunk into the pond and filled her trunk with cool, refreshing water. Instead of drinking it, however, she turned her trunk on the zookeeper and you can just guess what happened next! Right in front of all the spectators at the zoo! What a funny sight to see!
What can you infer about what happened next?
The zookeeper decided to wade into the pond to cool off after he fed the elephants.
The elephant sprayed the zookeeper with water from his trunk.
The elephant drank the water and ate his dinner.
The zookeeper tripped and dropped the baskets of food.
