Read the passage carefully and answer the questions that follow-
Can children learn aggressive behaviour by watching' violent acts in
cartoons? There has been a definite increase in violent acts committed by
young people. Violence depicted in cartoons is harmful, and can lead to
violent behaviour. Allowing children unsupervised access to television can
have negative effects. Children need guidance as to what cartoons to watch
Limit the amount of time children spend watching television 1 - 2 hours
daily. Studies have shown that by decreasing the amount of time spent in
watching television, especially violent cartoons. helps to decrease
antagonisticstics behaviour. Parents are encouraged to watch cartoons with
their children. In doing so parents as are then able to teach their children the
difference between reality and cartoon fantasy, along with the opportunity to
to address any address any violent material seen. Most of the cartoon is
based on fighting, jumping, kicking, killing etc. Because hen they
hero fighting against the villain they eagerly worried for the hero to be de
winners for example- when Jerry is fighting with Tom. idee
they like spiderman who jumps from buildings and also climbs hisch walls
which is very risky for children. Children imitate like him and jump from
high place like a chair or bed which is very dangerous force and they
hurt. There is also the case of some kids fighting with their little siblings
Children also try to talk talk in real life as cartoon chararector. This needs to
be checked.
