Read the passage carefully. The errors are marked in bold. Correct them
and rewrite the passage.
The food I eat contains all the useful nutrients. The food has carbohydrates, proteins,
fruit as fibre. Carbohydrates and protein provide energy, fats help my body grow, and
fibre keeps my stomach, small intestine and lungs warm.
My digestive system is made up of mouth, windpipe, stomach, short intestine and long
intestine.
Digestion of the food begins in the stomach and ends after a few minutes in the large
intestine. Useful substances from the digested food then enter in to the water in my
large intestine and reach every part of my head. Digested food is removed from the
body as faeces.

Answer:

The digestive process begins in the mouth. Even before eating begins, the anticipation of eating stimulates glands in the mouth to produce saliva.
