Ifeveryone knew his future, it would be impossible for him to live with joy. So God, in His mercy,
conceals the future from all His creatures and reveals only the present. For example, if a Lamb
had reason like a man, it could not play about happily, knowing it was destined to be killed for
human food. Similarly, man would never make efforts fo the future in the knew what is joys or
pains he had in store for him.
