Read the passage given below and answer the questions that follow
A story tells us two friends were walking through the desert. While they were walking they got
into an ugly argument and out of anger one of them slapped the other on the face. The one who
was slapped was hurt and quietly wrote over the sand “ Today my friend slapped me on my
face”.
They started walking until they found an Oasis,and decided to take a bath . The one who had
got slapped stuck in the die mire started drowning. But the other friend came to his rescue and
saved him.The recovered friend wrote on the stone this time..“Today I was saved by my best
friend”.Confused looking at this.He asked ,"why did you write on the stone this time ?"
The other friend replied "When someone hurts us, we should write down in sand where winds of
forgiveness can erase it away, But when someone does something good for us, we must
engrave it on stone where no stone can erase it away.
Forgiveness is the final form of love. They both smiled and continued their journey.
