Good Health
1. Good health is not just about healthy eating and exercising, it also
includes having a positive mental health, healthy self-image, and a
healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle means maintaining a balanced and
nutritious diet as well as getting engaged in sports or other fitnessrelated activities. According to the World Health Organisation, only
one in ten people exercises and a majority does not follow a healthy
diet. The main culprit is our penchant for junk food that can be seen
from the popularity of fast-food chains and other western eateries.
2. It is extremely important to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and to achieve
this aim special attention needs to be given to one’s diet. One should
eat more fruits and vegetables and eat less carbohydrates, high sodium,
and unhealthy fat. Junk food and sweets should be avoided. One should
keep a tab on the number of calories one is consuming and should also
engage in things which makes them happy.
3.It is essential to incorporate healthy habits this goal can be achieved
with the help of schools. They should implement physical education
on daily basis rather than twice a week. Most students are sedentary
and prefer to concentrate on their studies as they are not exposed to the
importance of exercising. By enforcing regular exercise daily, these
students would be exposed to the importance of exercise.
4. Leading a healthy lifestyle is a conscious decision. One can ignore that
and can lead a life that exposes one to many health hazards. It is
essential to recognize that a healthy living ensures a longer lifespan as
well as a life free from diseases and complications.
5. Mental health often takes a back seat when one talks about healthy
lifestyle. To have a sound mental and emotional state, one must
surround themself with positive energy. Yes, not all problems can be
avoided. But it helps us to face such obstacles with an optimistic
outlook. It is essential to surround oneself with encouraging friends
and people that will provide you with constructive criticism. Make it
a habit to always look at the brighter side of life. Even if you find
yourself in the worst situation, there is always an upside to it—
something good and positive. Dwell on these things instead.
