Komba

Komba was playing in the garden. Suddenly the sky turned dark, and it started raining

heavily. Komba was getting wet but he did not mind because he loved to play. While he

was playing, he saw a big bone. He stopped and sniffed at it. He picked up the bone

with his teeth. He held it in his mouth and continued to play.

He ran up to the farther corner of the garden until he reached a big mango tree. He

dug a deep hole with his front paw and buried the bone under the mango tree. He filled

it up with mud. Komba wagged his tail happily and went home.

Preethi his owner opened the door to let him in. She took a towel and pat dried Komba.

Komba played with Preethi for some time. She then gave him food to eat and stroked

him as he was eating. After that Komba sat in the porch of the house, Preethi hugged

him. Then, Preethi went to sleep leaving Komba behind to watch the house.
