Here comes an innocent snail
Silently, slowly and cheerfully,
Carrying its soft, smooth body,
Stretching out its twin, slender antennae
And a beautiful, brittle shell on its back,
Leaving a long, thin, silvery trail
On the tricky, troublesome terrain
Facing all the risks and braving all odds its way
Inching and inching this visitor
Is it looking for food or friends?
Does it like sunshine or rain?
What is its
pet
name?
Who knows? Who knows?
