Read the scenario and decide how you would react to the situation within 120 words. (5 Marks) A new girl named Molly moved to your school a month earlier. Molly is shy and keeps to herself. Many of the girls in school think she is snobby because she doesn't talk to anyone. You are having a birthday party and want to invite her because you don't want anyone to feel leftout. However, some of the other girls say they won't come if you invite Molly. What do you do?

Explanation:

I would try to explain to the other girls the reason why Molly is so shy and timid and keeps to herself. I would make them see reason and tell them that she is just diffident as she is an introvert and she is not the type that has the courage to initiate the first move. I would further advise them to make the first move and befriend her so that she builds up tue courage to open up to people and express her feelings and emotions openly, instead of them suppressing them and succumbing to their tremendous pressure. I would also try to explain this reason that as she recently moved into the school, she needs some time to adjust and fit in with the other students, and a very effective way would be to invite her to my birthday. This is because when I invite hee, she won't feel left out and know that we care for her and like her to become our friend. I would also tell them that if she attends the party, maybe she can overcome her shyness and let out her extroverted side, thus making a lot of friends.
