Answer:

Explanation:

Jalal-ud-din khalji :

Alaud-Din Khalji, also known as Alauddin Khalji or Alauddin Ghilji, was the emperor of the Khalji dynasty that governed the Delhi Sultanate on the Indian subcontinent. He was born Ali Gurshasp. Significant administrative changes regarding taxes, price controls, and society were implemented under Alauddin. Additionally, he successfully repelled multiple Mongol incursions into India.

Alauddin was Jalaluddin's predecessor's nephew and son-in-law. Alauddin received the title of Amir-i-Tuzuk after Jalaluddin overthrew the Mamluks to become the Sultan of Delhi (equivalent to master of ceremonies). After putting down a rebellion against Jalaluddin, Alauddin won control of Kara in 1291 and Awadh in 1296 following a successful raid on Bhilsa. Alauddin attacked Devagiri in 1296 and took riches to successfully lead an uprising against Jalaluddin. He strengthened his position in Delhi after killing Jalaluddin and ruled over Jalaluddin's sons in Multan.

Interaction with Hindus:

He occasionally took advantage of Muslim fervour directed toward Hindu chiefs and the treatment of the zimmis. According to Persian historian Wassaf, he sent an expedition against Gujarat as part of a holy war and not out of a "thirst of conquest." [150] Gujarat was only captured in the second invasion, which occurred seven years after the first one, according to the masnavi Deval Devi—Khizr Khan by Amir Khusrau, suggesting the first invasion was only a raid for loot. [151] It is stated that the residents of Khambhat were taken by surprise. For the cause of Islam, the Muhammadan armies "began to slay and massacre on the right and on the left mercilessly, across the unclean area, and blood flowed in rivers," according to Wassaf.

Along with his several Hindu temples were demolished by generals during their military conquests. Temples in Bhilsa (1292), Devagiri (1295), Vijapur (1298-1310), Somnath (1299), Jhain (1301), Chidambaram (1311), and Madurai were among them (1311).
